Politico: Obama is expected to talk about shutdown's effect on business

President Barack Obama is expected to visit Rockville-based M. Luis Construction Company on Thursday, Politico reports.

Obama press secretary Jay Carney said the president is expected to talk about the government shutdown’s effect on business, Politico reports.

M. Luis Construction is a Maryland-based, woman and minority-owned road construction company. Its main office is in Baltimore and its asphalt facility located at Southlawn Lane in Rockville, according to the company's website.

A city of Rockville spokeswoman said beyond coordinating with police for security, the city was not involved with the planning of the event, which is outside the city limits.
