Executive's Ball Benefits County Arts Nonprofits
The Leggetts hosted the 25th annual gala on inauguration eve
The 25th Annual Montgomery County Executive's Ball for the Benefit of the Arts and Humanities brought about 800 people to the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center on Sunday night.
"Steppin' Out!" was the theme of this year's black tie gala. Attendees at the $100-per-ticket ball ate, bid on items in a silent auction and danced to Glenn Pearson and the Floating Opera Dance Orchestra.

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County spent eight months planning for the ball, which raises money for nonprofit arts and humanities organizations that bring theater, music, dance, visual arts, arts education and humanities programs to county communities and schools.
The ball has raised more than $1 million for such programs over the past 25 years.
