The 26th Annual Montgomery County Executive's Ball

The 26th Annual Montgomery County Executive’s Ball, “One for the Books,” will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Funds for this years ball will support literacy and education through the County’s award-winning public library system, the Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) via Friends of the Library, Montgomery County (FOLMC).

The Executive Ball tradition was started in 1986 by the then-First Lady of Montgomery County, Betty Mae Kramer. The 2011 ball is co-chaired by Catherine Leggett, the County’s current First Lady, and former Maryland Secretary of State, Mary D. Kane.

In addition to refreshments and dancing, the Ball will feature a silent auction, with such items as fine jewelry, weekend retreats, entertainment packages, and several gift certificates for attendees to bid on. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with some of the movers and shakers in our community, all in a festive spirit.
