Public Hearing to Amend Sign Regulations

Please be advised that the Mayor and Council has scheduled a public hearing on zoning text amendment, TXT2012-00234. This text amendment proposes to amend the sign regulations in Article 18 of the Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of allowing some additional flexibility in the processing of sign permit applications.
The Planning Commission reviewed the text amendment at its meeting on April 25, 2012, and provided a recommendation to the Mayor and Council to approve the text amendment, which will become part of the public hearing record.
The public hearing before the Mayor and Council is scheduled for Monday, June 11, 2012 at 7p.m. in the Mayor and Council Chambers at City Hall.
