Muncaster-Derwood Area Town Hall Meeting

A town hall meeting will be hosted by the Montgomery County Council at Redland Middle School to find out what issues most concern residents.

Residents are encouraged to ask questions of the Councilmembers and voice their opinions on specific issues.

Major topics of the evening will most likely include the recently adopted County budget, the performance of power utilities, including Pepco, the Inter-County Connector; traffic; schools; and the redevelopment of existing neighborhoods and business areas.

The meeting will be taped for later broadcast on County Cable Montgomery (CCM—cable Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon).

A pre-meeting reception will begin at 7:30 p.m.
