Croydon Creek Nature Center Marks a Milestone

Tenth anniversary celebration on Saturday includes games, animals and a plant sale.

will mark 10 years of community programming in Rockville with a .

The free festival will feature indoor and outdoor family fun including:

  • Woodland hikes.
  • Nature games and crafts.
  • Exhibits.
  • Demonstrations by the and the city’s Environmental Management Division.
  • Live animal shows.

There also will be a rain barrel and native plant sale. Rain barrels cost $90. Proceeds benefit both and Croydon Creek Nature Center.

“We’re very proud of the successful nature programs we have built during the past 10 years,” center supervisor Elissa Totin said in a news release. “We’re looking forward to reaching even more people with our education and outreach during the next 10.”
