Board of Elections Seeks Spanish Speakers

Can you speak, read and write in English—and speak fluent Spanish?

Are you fluent in Spanish? Are you interested in becoming an election judge?

The Montgomery County Board of Elections is looking for people just like you to serve at polling places on Election Day, Nov. 6.  

According to Maryland's election law, election judges must meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered to vote in Maryland.
  • Be at least 17 years old.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.

What you don't need is Montgomery County residency. Another point of interest: Election judges are compensated for their time during training and on Election Day itself.
