VIDEO: Police Seek to Identify Three Suspects in Rockville Pharmacy Burglaries

About $16,000 in narcotics stolen in two separate break-ins, police say.

Rockville City Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects who have stolen about $16,000 in narcotics in a series of burglaries at over the past month and a half, the city said in a news release on Monday.

Police first responded to an alarm at the pharmacy, at 50 W. Edmonston Drive, just after 5:30 a.m. on May 16, the release said. They found the front door pried open and $10,000 worth of narcotics taken.

On Friday, a pharmacy employee arrived at work to find a long scratch in the front door and window, the release said. Police believe someone tried to break into the pharmacy between 2 and 8 a.m.

About 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to an alarm at the pharmacy to find the rear door forced open and $6,000 worth of narcotics taken, the release said.

Anyone who may have information about who is responsible for the burglaries is asked to call the Rockville City Police Criminal Investigations Unit at 240-314-8938.

Crime Solvers
