Two Men Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision in North Bethesda

One man suffers life-threatening injuries.

 

A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision early Monday afternoon at the intersection of Executive Boulevard and Old Georgetown Road, near the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, a county fire and rescue spokesman said.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded to a call at 12:16 p.m. of a collision that left one of the vehicles on its side, said Capt. Oscar Garcia, a county fire and rescue spokesman.

Firefighters worked for about 15 minutes to extricate the men, Garcia said.

Both men were taken to a trauma center. One had serious, life-threatening injuries, Garcia said. The other had serious injuries considered non-life-threatening.

Montgomery County police are investigating the collision.
