Rickley Joshua Senning, 24, is being sought by Montgomery County Police for kidnapping, sexual assault and other charges.

A Germantown man sought by Montgomery County Police for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting an acquaintance has been arrested in the Miami, FL, area.

The Miami-Dade Police Department responded to a call about 10 p.m. Tuesday on a suspicious person, who turned out to be Rickley Joshua Senning. Officers conducted a warrant check and found the open warrant issued by Montgomery County Police on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, auto theft, and two counts of second-degree assault.

Florida authorities soon located Senning, 24, and took him into custody; he is awaiting extradition proceedings to Montgomery County.

The charges against Senning stem from a May 19 report of an assault at the Harris Teeter store at 14101 Darnestown Road in Germantown. The victim, a 53-year-old woman, told investigators that Senning had assaulted her two times that evening.

The victim said Senning lived with her and had assaulted her at her Dickerson residence and outside the Harris Teeter store. After the assault, Senning reportedly took the victim’s vehicle and fled. After Senning left the store, he was involved in a collision on Darnestown Road near Bondy Lane, according to police.
