Strong-Arm Robbery, Assaults and Burglaries in County Police Reports

The following is compiled from Montgomery County Police Department crime summaries. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

2300 block of Henslowe Drive: A burglary and an attempted burglary occurred at 5:34 p.m. on Aug. 22. The suspect unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to one residence and then successfully gained entry to another. A 26-year-old man from Bethesda was arrested.

Incidents

Hungerford Drive and North Campus Drive: A strong-arm robbery occurred at 4 p.m. on Aug. 26 near . The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property. 
Suspects’ description:

1. Asian male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, 160 pounds.
2. Black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet 3 inches, 250 pounds.
3. Black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches, 180 pounds.

Suspect vehicle description: A black Honda Accord.

11900 block of Parklawn Drive: An attempted residential burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 24. Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.

5465 Parklawn Drive: A commercial burglary occurred at Deck Helmet between 11 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 6 a.m. on Aug. 26. Forced entry. Property taken.

12500 block of Village Square Terrace: Graffiti was spray painted on a vehicle between 5:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 23.

1700 block of Farragut Avenue: A residential burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 25. Unforced entry. Property taken.
Suspect description: A black male, 36 to 37 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches, with dreadlocks.

380 Hungerford Drive: An aggravated assault occurred in front of , at 4:21 p.m. on Aug. 21. The suspect assaulted the victim after a road rage incident. 

Suspect description: A black male, 22 years old.

Suspect vehicle description: A 1995 Nissan Maxima with Maryland tags.

14650 Southlawn Lane: A commercial burglary occurred at between 4 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 27. Forced entry. It is unknown whether anything was taken.

16143 Shady Grove Road: An aggravated assault occurred in front of JJ Muldoon’s, at 7:04 p.m. on Aug. 28.

Avery Road: Two thefts from vehicles occurred:

• 15500 block: At 3:36 a.m. on Aug. 27. Forced entry. Unknown what was taken.
• 15400 block: Between 10 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 2 a.m. on Aug. 27. Unlocked doors. Cash was taken.

4400 block of Bel Pre Road: An aggravated assault occurred at 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 27. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon.

5100 block of Norbeck Road: A residential burglary occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Aug. 26. Forced entry. Property taken.
