Sexual Assaults, Indecent Exposure, Thefts and Burglaries in County Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Sept. 3 to Sept. 11, according to county police.

 

The following is compiled from Montgomery County Police Department crime summaries. Arrests do not imply guilt. 

Arrests

200 block of Redland Boulevard: An aggravated assault occurred at 6:25 p.m. on Sept. 9. The suspect is known to the victim. A 39-year-old woman from Rockville was arrested.

6500 block of Old Farm Road: An aggravated assault occurred on at 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 10. The suspect is known to the victim. A 30-year-old man from Rockville was arrested.

Incidents

11776 Parklawn Drive: An indecent exposure incident occurred at Enterprise Rent-A-Car between 7:15 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 6. A man exposed himself to the victim.

5900 block of Lemay Road: A robbery occurred on Sept. 5. No further information is available.

5635 Fishers Lane: Two thefts from vehicles occurred in a garage on Sept. 11. In the first, entry was forced, but nothing was taken. In the second, there was an unknown means of entry and it is unknown whether anything was taken.

Creek Valley Lane and Grand Champion Drive: An attempted sexual assault occurred at 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 6. 

Suspect description: An Asian male, 28 to 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet, 170 to 190 pounds. Last seen wearing a tan winter hat, cream-colored shirt and beige pants.

15108 Frederick Road: A sexual assault occurred at Magruder’s at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 8. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim.

8100 block of Jeb Stuart Road: A residential burglary occurred between 1 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 8. Unforced entry. Property taken.

10800 block of Maplecrest Lane: A theft from a vehicle occurred at 1:11 a.m. on Sept. 3. The vehicle was unlocked. A cell phone charger and headphones were taken.

9400 block of Turnberry Drive: A residential burglary occurred between 3 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 6. Forced entry. Property taken.

7700 block of Whiterim Terrace:  A residential burglary occurred between 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 5:45 a.m. on Sept. 8. No forced entry. Property taken.

Five thefts from vehicles occurred overnight Sept. 5-6 in this Rockville neighborhood:

  • 8400 block of Crimson Leaf Court: Between 10:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Unforced entry. Coins and a set of golf clubs taken.
  • 9400 block of Crimson Leaf Terrace: Between 7:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. Unknown entry. The vehicle was searched but nothing was taken.
  • 9400 block of Turnberry Drive: Between 8 p.m. and 7:15 a.m.  Unknown entry. The vehicle was searched but nothing was taken.
  • 9400 block of Turnberry Drive: Between 5:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. Two unlocked vehicles were searched. A clergy communion set, two coats, a cell phone earpiece and a charger were taken.
  • 9400 block of Turnberry Drive: Between 9:30 p.m. and 11:15 a.m. Forced entry. A credit card and a pair of sunglasses were taken.

1426 Rockville Pike: A commercial burglary occurred at EnCompass LLC overnight Sept. 3-4. Forced entry. Property taken.
