UPDATE: Wheelchair-Bound Man Missing from Rockville Found Safe

Ali Alhaeri went missing from the Fallsgrove Village shopping center on Tuesday.

A Dickerson who was reported missing from the Fallsgrove Village Center in Rockville on Tuesday night was found safe in Rockville on Wednesday, Montgomery County police said in a news release.

Montgomery County police are searching for a wheelchair-bound Dickerson man last seen at the Fallsgrove Village Center in Rockville on Tuesday night.

County police say Ali Alhaeri, 23, of the 25400 block of Old Hundred Rd. in Dickerson, disappeared from the shopping center on Shady Grove Road in Rockville sometime after 7:25 p.m.

Alhaeri is paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. Family and police are concerned for his mental well-being, police said.

Alhaeri is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. He has a tattoo on his left arm of the letter “F” with four stars after it.

His wheelchair is black and is motorized, police said.

A Rockville Patch reader reported seeing police cars and a helicopter searching near Wootton Parkway and Darnestown Road shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Rockville City Police Chief Terrance N. Treschuk said the search was for Alhaeri.
