Rockville City Police: Copper Stolen, Concealed Weapons Arrest Involves Sword, More
The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Arrests
200 block of Reading Avenue—A 23-year-old man was arrested on charges of marijuana possession, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and paraphernalia at around 1 p.m. Dec. 24.
200 block of Rockville Pike—A 56-year-old man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and for an outstanding warrant through Maryland State Probation and Parole Board at around 8:15 a.m. Dec. 30. A 49-year-old woman was also arrested for an open warrant she had through Loudoun County (VA) Sheriff’s Office.

900 block of N. Stonestreet Avenue—51-year-old man was arrested for four counts of possession of concealed weapons—a sheathed sword, two knives, and a wooden blunt object—and was issued several traffic citations at around 2 a.m. Dec. 31. Police said they were responding to reports of a domestic disturbance when the man drove off.

200 block of Autumn Wind Way—Copper drain pipes were taken sometime between 1 p.m. Dec. 21 and 4 p.m. Dec. 30.
2000 block of Ashleigh Woods Court—A GPS and loose change were taken from an unlocked vehicle sometime between noon Dec. 29 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 30.
Unit block of Southlawn Court—Cash and checks were taken from a secured storage room sometime between 11:40 p.m. Dec. 23 and 10 a.m. Dec. 24. Police said someone used a key to unlock the front door of the business and took a key from the front desk in order to unlock the storage room.
Unit block of Southlawn Court—Cash and a video tablet were taken from a safe inside business between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Dec. 31. Police said the lock of the front door was broken off and a storage room door was pried open.
1000 block of Copperstone Court—Two iPads, a laptop, a video game console, 10 video games, a television and a cell phone were taken from a residence, accessed through an unlocked back door sometime 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31 and 2 a.m. Jan. 1.
1600 block of East Jefferson Street—The front chrome grille piece and right side fog light were taken from a vehicle some time between noon Jan. 1 and 12: 30 p.m. Jan. 2.
