Arrests and incidents for May 17-26.

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt. 

Arrests

2100 block of Baltimore Road: A juvenile male, age 16, was arrested on at 1:15 p.m. on May 17 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: Two juveniles were arrested on at 6:44 p.m. on May 18. A female, age 15, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A male, age 13, was arrested for disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: A juvenile male, age 13, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

100 block of East Jefferson Street: A female, age 48, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 9:30 p.m. on May 19.

800 block of New Mark Esplanade: A male, age 19, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. on May 20 for second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

1000 block of Lewis Avenue: A juvenile male, age 17, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on May 20 for motor vehicle theft and theft over $1,000.

900 block of Veirs Mill Road: A male, age 28, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. on May 20 for driving under the influence.

300 block of Hungerford Drive: A male, age 57, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on May 23 for disorderly conduct and theft under $1,000 at the .

1300 block of Seven Locks Road: A male, age 27, was arrested at 9:19 p.m. on May 23 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Unit block of Tower Oaks Boulevard: A male, age 51, of Germantown, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. on May 23 for driving under the influence.

2400 block of Research Boulevard: A male, age 40, of Germantown, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on May 24 for resisting arrest.

5900 block of Halpine Road: A male, age 23, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. on May 24 for hindering a police officer in the performance of their duties.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: A male juvenile, age 17, was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor at 9:45 p.m. on May 24.

14000 block of Avery Road: A male juvenile, age 13, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. on May 25 for possession of a weapon on school property. The weapon was a BB gun, police said.

2800 block of Tower Oaks Boulevard: A male, age 47, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on May 25 for driving under the influence.

Unit block of Mannakee Street: A male, age 25, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on May 25 for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

2800 block of Tower Oaks Boulevard: A male, age 34, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on May 25 for driving under the influence.

Unit block of Veirs Mill Road: A male, 34, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. on May 26 for driving while suspended, failure to avoid collision and driving under the influence.

800 block of College Parkway: A male, age 22, was arrested at 3:05 a.m. on May 27 for driving under the influence.

Incidents

800 block of Reserve Champion Drive: The complainant reported a possible known subject stole a bottle of prescription pills from the unlocked residence sometime between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on May 18.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: The complainant reported at 10:55 p.m. on May 19 an unknown subject pointed a knife at him and demanded he turn over his property. The suspects fled without obtaining any property.

Suspects’ descriptions:

  1. A black male, 18-20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, 230 to 250 pounds, with hair in dreadlock or twists.
  2. A black male, 18-20 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch, 130 to 180 pounds.
  3. A black female, 15-16 years old, 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches, 130 pounds.
  4. A black female, 14-15 years old, 4 feet, 130 pounds.

1100 block of Lewis Avenue: The complainant reported a possibly known subject entered the residence from an unlocked window and stole jewelry and a weed whacker sometime between April 14 and May 19.

1700 block of Redgate Farms Court: The complainant reported that an unknown subject cut and removed a window screen and entered an unlocked window and removed various electronic devices between 8:10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on May 21.

13000 block of Midway Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a laptop computer through a window that was left open between 3 and 4 p.m. on May 21.

600 block of Goldsborough Drive: The complainant reported he left his bicycle locked and secured to a light pole between 12:30 and 4:55 p.m. on May 23. Upon return the lock and chain were broken and the bicycle was gone.

100 block of Halpine Road: The complainant reported a possibly known subject entered the locked residence and obtained jewelry, a laptop computer and a gift card between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on May 23.

400 block of Calvin Lane: The complainant reported sometime on May 9 and on May 13 an unknown subject stole a lawnmower, shovel, ladder and chainsaw from an unlocked storage area.

1700 Evelyn Drive: The complainant reported that sometime between 10 p.m. on May 25 and 5:57 a.m. on May 26 an unknown suspect spray painted a racial slur on the rear bumper of his vehicle, which was parked on the street.

800 block of Wade Avenue: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed furniture from a front porch sometime between May 25 and 26.

900 block of Mannakee Street: The complainant reported an unknown subject used force to break into three vending machines, removing cash and coins, sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. on May 26.

300 block of Frederick Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed her purse from a storage closet sometime between 6 and 9 p.m. on May 26.
