Rockville City Police: Man, Woman Charged With Theft, Illegal Use of Credit Cards

The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City Police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests

12401 Twinbrook Parkway—A 26-year-old man was arrested on charges of theft, hindering and obstructing a police investigation, disorderly conduct and making a false statement to a police officer, on Dec. 11 between 5 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

On Dec. 13, a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested on charges of robbery and assault, theft, and illegal use of credit cards tied to three Dec. 5, Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at Lemay Road and Ridgeway Avenue, Stanley Avenue and Matthews Drive, and Lemay Road and Holland Drive.

39 Maryland Avenue—A 48-year-old man was arrested 3 p.m. Dec. 11 on five outstanding warrants through Montgomery County police.

Incidents

700 block of Grandin Avenue—The front door to a residence was forced open sometime between noon Dec. 1 and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Nothing was reported missing.

5900 block of Lemay Road—A wheel and tire was taken from a vehicle sometime between 11 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9 a.m. Dec. 9.

Unit block of Basildon Circle—A safe was taken from a vacant residence sometime between Dec. 9 and Dec. 11. Entry was gained through an unlocked rear door.

15100 block of Frederick Road—Several packs of cigarettes were taken from a business 11:45 p.m. Dec. 10. The front door of the business was broken through.

15100 block of Frederick Road—The a glass front door of a business was broken at 12:13 a.m. Dec. 11. Nothing was stolen. 

500 block of Grandin Avenue—Cash, baseball cards, and jewelry were taken from a residence on Dec. 11, between 8 am. and 6;15 p.m. Police said someone smashed open a side door.

100 block of Congressional Lane—A wallet was taken from a purse at an unlocked office on Dec. 11, between 3 and 5 p.m.

400 block of North Horners Lane—A cast-iron sink was taken from a yard Dec. 12, between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

1500 block of Columbia Avenue—Jewelry was taken from a residence sometime between 3 and 3:40 p.m. Dec. 12. A side door was broken into.

600 block of Goldsborough Drive—Two laptops and a coin collection were taken from a residence sometime between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 12. A side door was kicked in.

Unit block of Clemson Court—The side door to a residence was kicked in on Dec. 12 between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m.

200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive—An unattended cell phone was taken from a desk Dec. 12, between 1:30 and 2:10 p.m.

1400 block of Templeton Place—Cash and jewelry were taken from a residence Dec. 12, between 4:45 and 10 p.m. The glass panel of a rear door was broken.

1600 block of Rockville Pike—A male and a female took two bottles of perfume from a business at around 5:45 p.m. Dec. 12.  Police are looking for a black male last seen wearing a red skull cap, dark pants and a black jacket; and a black female last seeing a leopard-print jacket and black pants.

1100 block of Rockville Pike—A wallet was taken from a purse inadvertently left at a business Dec. 14, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

1000 block of Elmcroft Boulevard—A wallet was taken from an unattended purse in an unlocked vehicle at around 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
