Rockville City Police: Assault Arrest Made; Purse Thefts Reported

The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City Police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests

14700 block of Avery Road—A 24-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and failing to obey a lawful order, on Jan. 6.

200 block of North Washington Street—A 30-year man was arrested for violating a peace order, on Jan. 10, between 4:51 and 5:15 p.m.

200 block of Pender Place—the complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an iPad from an unlocked vehicle between 10:45 p.m. Jan. 11 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12.

700 block of Rockville Pike—Two purses, two wallets, cash, a driver’s license, passport, and credit cards were taken from a vehicle at around 2:15 p.m. Jan. 12.
