Police: Vehicle Thefts Reported at Young's Auto Service, J&J Seamless Gutters

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Rockville and its surrounding region. Arrests do no indicate convictions.

Two thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat, during this week. Both incidents occurred on Congressional Lane in Rockville and one involved an unlocked vehicle. Vehicle parts and credit cards were taken.

 

A purse was taken from Giant, 12051 Rockville Pike, in North Bethesda on Friday, Nov. 8 between 3:50 and 4 p.m.

Cash and loose items were reported missing in seven vehicle-related thefts reported on Highwood Road, Thornden Road, Lemay Road, Clagett Drive, and Grandin Avenue in Rockville.

A vehicle theft occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 6 between 5:20 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Young’s Auto Service located at 12370 Parklawn Drive in Rockville.

A vehicle theft occurred between Friday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 10 at J&J Seamless Gutters located at 1057 Taft Street in Rockville.

A weapon was found during a traffic stop Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 1:12 a.m. at the intersection of Randolph Road and Maple Avenue in North Bethesda. Arrested: Male, 33, from Silver Spring.

An aggravated assault occurred at the Men’s Shelter, 600 E. Gude Drive in Rockville, on Wednesday Nov. 6 at 8:40 p.m. Arrested: Male, age 24, from Germantown

A residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Falls Road in Rockville on Monday, Nov. 4 between 7:05 a.m. and 6:05 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Procera Drive in Rockville on Thursday, Nov. 7 between 5 and 7:45 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.

Four thefts from unlocked vehicles were reported. A cell phone, digital camera and laptop were among the items taken.  Streets affected included: Wilkesboro Lane, Fallsmead Way, Coldstream Drive, and Infield Court in North Potomac.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 11400 block of Highland Farm Court in Rockville on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Arrested: Male, age 36, from Ft. Washington  

A commercial burglary occurred at The Dickerson Market, 22145 Dickerson Road in Dickerson on Monday, Nov. 11 at 1:19 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

An armed robbery occurred in the 12400 block of Turkey Branch Parkway in Rockville on Monday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Police said two males on motorcycles were involved. 

A residential burglary occurred in the 14000 block of Castaway Drive in Rockville between Monday, Nov. 4 and Monday, Nov. 11. Forced entry; property taken.
