UPDATE: Rockville Man Found Unharmed in Howard County

Police sought assistance in search for the 88-year-old who had not been seen since Monday morning.

Update, 9:40 p.m.:

Parviz Tondari has been located with his car on Route 70 in Howard County, Capt. David Falcinelli of the Montgomery County Police said in an email.

"He is fine," Falcinelli wrote.

County police are seeking the public’s help in locating an 88-year-old Rockville resident who was last seen at his home on Monday morning.

Parviz Tondari was last seen about 10 a.m. at his home in the 15300 block of Diamond Cove Terrace, according to a county police news release.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare, the release said.

Tondari is described as a white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 to 175 pounds. He has short gray hair, brown eyes and wears glasses, the release said.

He may be driving a light green Mercury Sable with Maryland tags MBH333, the release said.
