UPDATE: Rockville Woman Found 'Safe and Unharmed'

Linda Ann Reiff had been missing since Friday.

County police said Thursday that detectives from the 1st District found Linda Ann Reiff "safe and unharmed" on Wednesday night. Reiff had not been seen at her home in Rockville since Friday.

"Police and family members thank the community and media outlets for their assistance in publicizing this missing person case," said a county police news release.

Police are searching for a woman who has not been seen at home in Rockville since Friday and may be suicidal.

Linda Ann Reiff, 45, of the 12900 block of Crookston Lane was heard from by phone at 9:15 on Monday morning, according to a county police news release.

She suffers from depression and has threatened to harm herself, police said. She has not taken prescribed medication in three days.

Police called Reiff's case critical and her family is "very concerned for her well-being," the release said.

Reiff is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, according to the release. She was last seen wearing an oversized brown long-sleeved shirt and brown Crocs, the release said. She walks with the aid of a cane.
