Police Release Sketch in Deadly Aspen Hill Shooting

Police said three armed males were involved and are still at large.

Police released composite sketch of one of the men involved in the deadly shooting of Alexander Benson Buie in Aspen Hill on Wednesday night.

Buie, 34, was shot during a scuffle after three armed men forced their way inside a residence in the 13400 block of Grenoble Drive, Montgomery County police said in a news release Thursday.

There were two other people at the residence at the time the of the shooting, but they were not physically harmed, police said.

Police dogs searched the neighborhood but were not able to find the assailants.

The man in the composite sketch was described as a black male in his mid twenties, 6-feet tall, with camouflage pants, curly hair and a mustache.

Police have asked anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 240-773-5070.  Tips received through the Crime Solvers program may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
