County firefighters rescued three workers trapped on scaffolding on a Montrose Road office building on Monday.

Firefighters came to the rescue of three workers trapped on scaffolding outside a high-rise office building on Montrose Road on Monday morning, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said. 

Firefighters were dispatched to the building, in the 6000 block of Montrose Road at 9:38 a.m., Capt. Oscar Garcia said.

A crew used an aerial truck and rescued the workers within 15 minutes of the dispatch call, Garcia said.

Details were not available about how the worker became trapped on the scaffolding, he said.

The fire and rescue service notified the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation’s Maryland Occupational Safety and Health, Garcia said.
