Pedestrian Dies After Getting Hit by Bus, Near Rockville Metro Station
Police on the scene investigating incident in Rockville.
A woman who was hit by a Ride On bus Tuesday while walking near the Rockville Metro station has died, according to a report by NBC-4.
The bus was reportedly turning onto N. Stonestreet Avenue, where the driver hit the woman, who was in her 60s; medics drove her to a nearby hospital, where she died. The woman was not identified.
The driver of the bus was cooperating with police on the scene Tuesday night.
It's not yet clear if the woman was in the crosswalk when she was hit.
