Montgomery County Police: Vehicle-Related Thefts Reported in Rockville

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Rockville and its surrounding region. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A theft from vehicle occurred in front of El Mariachi, 765 Rockville Pike in Rockville on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2:15 p.m. Forced entry; a purse was taken.

A theft occurred at the Giant located at 12051 Rockville Pike in North Bethesda on Wednesday, Jan. 8 between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The suspect removed property from the unknowing victim.

A residential burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Carnation Drive in Rockville between 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13 and 7:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Forced entry; nothing taken. Arrested: Male, 26 yrs. old, from Rockville

Three thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat during this reporting period. Forced entry; a purse and two wallets were taken. Incidents occurred on Darnestown Road and Traville Gateway Drive in Rockville.

A residential burglary and vehicle theft occurred in the 12500 block of Shoemaker Way in North Potomac between 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. Unknown entry; vehicle taken.
