Montgomery County Police: Vehicle Theft, Burgled Offices Reported

The following arrest information was provided by Montgomery County Police for Rockville. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Two incidents were reported at the parking garage at 198 Halpine Road, Rockville:

  • A theft from a vehicle was reported between midnight and 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31.  No forced entry; property taken.
  • A vehicle theft was reported between 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 and 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1.  No further information.

A residential burglary was reported in the 12200 block of Wilkins Avenue, Rockville on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 11:22 a.m.  Unknown entry.  Property taken. 

Three thefts from vehicles were reported in the parking lot of Timpano Restaurant, 12021 Rockville Pike, Rockville, between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31.  Entry was forced on all three vehicles and loose items left inside were taken, such as a GPS and computer bags.

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Twin Oaks Drive, Rockville, between 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 and 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. A laptop and a backpack were reported missing from the unlocked vehicle. 

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 8900 block of Cophenhaver Drive, Rockville on Tuesday, Jan. 29, between noon. and 3:46 p.m.  Forced entry; radio taken.

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 400 block of Long Trail Terrace, Rockville on Monday, Feb. 4 at 10:55 a.m.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

A commercial office burglary was reported at 11140 Rockville Pike, Rockville overnight from Monday, Jan. 28 to Tuesday, Jan. 29.  Forced entry; property taken.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported during the evening hours on Thursday, Jan. 31.  Entry was forced on two vehicles parked in commercial lots in the 4900 and 5200 blocks of Nicholson Lane, Rockville.  Items reported missing included purses, briefcases and a cell phone.
