Montgomery County Police: Assaults Reported, 6 Burglary Incidents in Rockville

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Rockville and its surrounding region. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

An aggravated assault occurred near Montrose Road and Hoya Street in Rockville at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. Police said the people involved knew each other.  Arrested: Male, age 23, of no fixed address

An aggravated assault occurred in the 5900 block of Spaatz Place in Rockville at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30. Police said the people involved knew each other.

A commercial burglary occurred at Tikvat Israel, 2200 Baltimore Road in Rockville at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. Two sheds were broken into.

Two thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat during this reporting period. A GPS and a laptop were taken. Incidents occurred on Wainwright Avenue and near the intersection of Rockville Pike and Montgomery Drive in Rockville. 

A residential burglary occurred in the 7500 block of Needwood Road in Rockville, between 12:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. Property was taken from a shed.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Pavonia Court in Rockville between Monday, Nov. 25 and Monday, Dec. 2. Forced entry; property taken. 

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 8300 block of Aqueduct Road in Rockville on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Woodington Drive in Potomac on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 11:42 p.m. Forced entry; unknown what was taken. 

A residential burglary occurred in the 9900 block of Bluegrass Road in Rockville on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at approximately 10 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken
