Montgomery County Police: Assault Arrest, Burglaries Reported in Rockville

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 5500 block of Halpine Place at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, 25, from Rockville

A vehicle theft was reported in the 1100 block of Veirs Mill Road on Tuesday, July 30 between 1 and 5 a.m.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 5500 block of Besley Court, between Thursday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 2.

A vehicle theft was reported at Dawson’s Market, 255 N. Washington Street in Rockville, between midnight and 1:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2.

A residential burglary was reported in the 10200 block of Shining Willow Drive in Rockville on Saturday, Aug. 3, between 2:58 and 3:37 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

An aggravated assault was reported at The Washington Post warehouse, 4948 Boiling Brook Parkway, Rockville on Saturday, Aug. 3 at approximately 3:20 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, 53, from Silver Spring

Two commercial burglaries were reported in the 5500 block of Security Lane in North Bethesda between Friday, Aug. 2 and Monday, Aug. 5. Forced entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault was reported in the 14200 block of Georgia Avenue in Rockville at around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. The suspect is known to the victim.

A residential burglary was reported in the 14300 block of Georgia Avenue in Rockville on Monday, July 29 between 8:10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13400 block of Oriental Street in Rockville on Friday, Aug. 2, between 12:55 and 1:15 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 15400 block of Sterling Drive in Rockville at. 6:41 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. No further information is available at this time.
