Montgomery County Police: Armed Robbery Attempt at Twinbrook Metro, Vehicle Thefts Reported

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Rockville and its surrounding region. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Police said a person was assaulted by two males in an attempted armed robbery at the Twinbrook Metro in Rockville at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. 

Property and a vehicle were taken during a commercial burglary at the BP gas station at 1910 Rockville Pike between 3:43 and 4:18 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.

A backpack was taken from a vehicle-related theft on Oct. 8, between noon and 9:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of Vandegrift Avenue in Rockville.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 5600 block of Fishers Lane in Rockville between 5 and 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11.

A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Autumn Wind Way in Rockville overnight, between Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15. Property was taken from a garage.

Tools were taken in a vehicle-related theft in the 500 block of Beall Avenue in Rockville between Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14. Unknown entry; tools taken.

A purse, a wallet and cash were taken in a vehicle-related theft in the hundred block of Forest Avenue in Rockville between Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14. Police said the vehicle was unlocked.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 15000 block of Gretna Green Drive in Darnestown between 9 a.m. and noon Tuesday, Oct. 8.
