Montgomery County Police: 1st District Station Moves From Rockville
First District station will move into its new digs Wednesday at the county's public safety headquarters in Gaithersburg.
As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, officers from Montgomery County police department's 1st District will no longer be working from Rockville.
Thereafter, The police district—which includes parts of Rockville and the rural parts of Northwest Montgomery County—will move into the county's public safety headquarters at 100 Edison Park Drive in Gaithersburg.
Police made the announcement Friday on its official blog.

Police said there would be no disruption to police services. All station telephone numbers would remain the same.
The old 1st District headquarters was at 1451 Seven Locks Road.
