Montgomery County Crime Summary: Burglaries, Thefts Reported in Rockville

An attempted commercial burglary was reported at Acrylic Custom Works, 15131 Southlawn Lane, Rockville between Saturday, March 9 and Monday, March 11. Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported in the 13200 block of Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, between 6 p.m. Monday, March 4 and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5. One vehicle was unlocked and the other had forced entry. Several power tools were taken.

Three vehicle thefts were reported in this North Bethesda beat. No information is available on means of entry or what was taken. The events were reported:

  • Between 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, and 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 in the 5100 block of Crossfield Court 
  • Between 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 and 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 in the 5100 block of Crossfield Court 
  • Between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the 12200 block of Braxfield Court.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 5600 block of Fishers Lane, North Bethesda in front of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, between 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 and 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28. Vehicle: 2010 Ford, gray.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 12800 block of Twinbrook Parkway, Twinbrook, between 8 p.m. Saturday, March 9 and 6 a.m. Sunday, March 10. Vehicle: 1998 Ford, white.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported in the garage at 401 N. Washington Street, Rockville on Thursday, Feb. 28. A GPS and registration were reported missing.

A residential burglary was reported in the 14000 block of Weeping Cherry Drive, Rockville on Wednesday, March 6, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Unknown entry. Property taken.

District 4

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 4500 block of Bardot Street, Rockville on Tuesday, March 5 at 10 p.m. Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.
