Updated: Missing Aspen Hill Woman Located

MCP: Woman missing from Aspen Hill since Sept. 27.

(Updated 4:03 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10)—Montgomery County police announced Thursday that an Aspen Hill woman reported as missing was found unharmed.

Family members were concerned for the whereabouts of Candice Reece, 36, of the 2400 block of Sun Valley Circle. Reece hadn't been heard from since Sept. 27.

Police said Candice Reece—who also goes by the first name “Christina” or “Chris”—was last seen at her home in the 2400 block of Sun Valley Circle. Reece, who is 36, was carrying a grocery bag with clothes, her identification and medical information.

Police said Reece as a black female with short auburn hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 2 inches tall at a weight of roughly 110 pounds.

Police said she is known to frequent Plaza del Mercado shopping center in Aspen Hill and the Westfield Wheaton Mall.  She usually travels by bus.
