Police: No one was injured. The man was arrested without incident.

A man is under arrest after he allegedly opened fire outside a condominium complex on Parkvale Road in Rockville on Tuesday morning, a Montgomery County police spokeswoman said.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Phillip Feinstein, 40, of the 14400 block of Parkvale Road in Rockville, is charged with multiple firearms charges, first-degree assault and first-degree burglary, said Officer Rebecca Innocenti, a county police spokeswoman.

At 8:52 a.m. Tuesday, police received multiple calls reporting a man shooting a gun into a single-family home near the condominium complex. The complex is behind the Rock Creek Village Shopping Center, which is at the corner of Baltimore and Norbeck roads just outside the city limits.

The man fired multiple rounds, hitting the single-family home and a condominium unit, Innocenti said. Several rounds went through a sliding glass door in the condominium, she said.

When county police arrived, they ordered the man out of another condominium, where he lives, Innocenti said. The man obeyed and was taken into custody without incident, she said.

Feinstein faces a burglary charge because at one point he entered the single-family home at which he was firing, Innocenti said.

It is not know why the man opened fired. County police are investigating.

Anyone with information is asked to call the county police department’s Fourth District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530.

Correction: In the original version of this article, police said Phillip Feinstein's age is 39. Court records state that he turned 40 on Saturday, Aug. 13.
