Greater Rockville Crime Summary: Armed Robbery, Burglary and Thefts

The following information was provided by the Montgomery County police department. Arrests do not imply conviction.

An armed robbery occurred at the intersection of Nebel Street and Old GeorgetownRoad in North Bethesda on Friday, Feb. 15 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Three suspects threatened the victim with a handgun and obtained property. The suspects were described as black males between the ages of 20 and 25. The suspect that carried the handgun has a reported height between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, and a reported weight of 170 to 200 pounds.

An attempted robbery occurred in the 12500 block of Village Square Terrace in North Bethesda on Friday, Feb. 15 at 8:45 a.m. The two teen suspects assaulted the victim, but were unsuccessful when they attempted to remove any property.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Ritchfield Court in Rockville on Monday, Feb. 18. No forced entry; nothing taken.

A burglary occurred at a construction site in the 4100 block of Great Oak Road in Rockville between Friday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 10. Construction materials were taken.

A burglary occurred at Redland Middle School at 6505 Muncaster Mill Road in Gaithersburg on Friday, Feb. 15 at around 3 a.m. No forced entry; nothing taken.

Arrested: Male, 35, from Gaithersburg

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 10700 block of Hampton Mill Terrace in North Bethesda on Monday, Feb. 11 between midnight and 7:50 a.m. Vehicle parts were taken.

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 10100 block of Grosvenor Place in North Bethesda overnight from Thursday, Feb. 14 to Friday, Feb. 15. Unknown entry; wallet taken.

An attempted robbery occurred at the intersection of Tuckerman Lane and Ralston Road in North Bethesda on Friday, Feb. 15. The suspect attempted to forcefully remove property from the victim but was unsuccessful.
