An Attempted Murder Arrest, Burglaries and Thefts in Rockville City Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Nov. 3-10, according to Rockville city police.

 

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt. 

Arrests

A 22-year-old man was arrested at 12:31 p.m. on Oct. 30 for attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment, for a stabbing incident that occurred at 10:28 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 800 block of Baltimore Road.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested Nov. 5 for a theft, which had occurred in the 600 block of Crocus Drive between 6 p.m. on Sept. 8 and noon on Sept. 9.

100 block of Rollins Avenue: A 28-year-old man was arrested for trespassing between 2:29 and 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 6.

Twinbrook Parkway and Veirs Mill Road: A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—Alprazolam and driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance at 2:50 p.m. on Nov. 9.

600 block of Hungerford Drive: A 30-year-old man was arrested for second-degree burglary, theft, and malicious destruction of property between 2:32 and 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 10.

Incidents

1100 block of Pipestem Place: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed several pieces of jewelry and a jewelry box between noon on Oct. 22 and noon on Oct. 29. 

100 block of Winding Rose Way: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a necklace, a pair of designer shoes, a designer purse, and an ornament from her vehicle between 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 9 p.m. on Nov. 5.

400 block of Hungerford Drive: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed her wallet, containing U.S. currency, a driver’s license and a credit card, from her purse that was in her unsecured office between 1:40 and 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 7. 

13100 block of Ardennes Avenue: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a crossbow, three arrows and a scope, a crossbow case, a range finder, two knives, a pair of binoculars, a backpack and a hunting bib, from an unlocked vehicle between 9 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 8.

1700 block of Rockville Pike: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed her unattended wallet containing U.S. currency, two credit cards and an identification card, from a table in a conference room between 5 and 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 8.

100 block of Wade Avenue: An unknown subject or subjects gained access by opening an unlocked door leading to a garage between 9 a.m. on Nov. 8 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 9. Once inside, the unknown subject or subjects removed a pressure washer, a drill, a chainsaw and a saw.
