An Armed Robbery, Drug Arrests and Burglaries in Rockville City Police Reports

Arrests and incidents through Dec. 3, according to Rockville city police.

 

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

14500 block of Avery Road: A 15-year-old boy was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana between noon and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Nov. 28 for an armed robbery that occurred during an illegal drug transaction in the area of Baylor Avenue between 9:30 and 9:50 p.m. Nov. 27.

12300 block of Twinbrook Parkway: A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana at 11:19 p.m. on Nov. 28.

400 block of Robena Way: A 33-year-old man was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon (brass knuckles) between 1:20 and 1:45 a.m. on Dec. 3.

Incidents

100 block of Elmcroft Square: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a video game console, a video game, a memory card, a game console case, a video camera and a cell phone from a residence between noon Nov. 1 and noon Dec. 1.

Unit block of Mannakee Street: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an unattended cell phone and an iPod from a classroom between 11:00 a.m. and noon Nov. 28.

15000 block of Shady Grove Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed two pregnancy-scanning devices from an unsecured room at a doctor’s office between noon and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

400 block of Elmcroft Boulevard: The complainant came home to find an unknown subject was inside his apartment between 1:20 and 1:22 p.m.  Nov. 30. The subject fled out a rear door, which originally had been kicked in to gain entry into the apartment.

400 block of Elmcroft Boulevard: An unknown subject gained access by unknown means through a rear door of an apartment between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Once inside, the subject removed U.S. currency.

400 block of Hungerford Drive: The complainant reported that an unknown subject entered her unsecured office and removed a wallet from her purse, while a second unknown subject stood as a lookout just outside the office between 2:25 and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 30.

2000 block of Baltimore Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a tire from his vehicle between 3 p.m. Nov. 30 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 2.

1600 block of Lewis Avenue: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a GPS and a backpack from a locked vehicle between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 30 and 9 a.m. Dec. 1.

400 block of King Farm Boulevard: An unknown subject gained access by prying open the front door of an apartment between 9:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Dec. 1. Once inside, the unknown subject removed four laptops and miscellaneous jewelry.

2100 block of Veirs Mill Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed his cell phone from a restaurant after the complainant had inadvertently left it at 2 a.m. Dec. 2.
