Aggravated Assaults, a Strong-Arm Robbery at a Metro Station and a Vehicle Theft, in County Police Reports

5000 block of Randolph Road: An aggravated assault occurred at 2:20 a.m. Dec. 8. The suspects were known to the victim.

11850 Parklawn Drive: A commercial burglary occurred at Extra Space Storage at 7 p.m. Dec. 7. Forced entry into two units. It is unknown if anything was taken.
5900 block of Vandegrift Avenue: Two thefts from vehicles occurred between 7 p.m. Dec. 8 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 9. Two unlocked vehicles were searched. A necklace was taken from one vehicle and a backpack from the other.

500 block of Hungerford Drive: A residential burglary occurred between 10:50 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 4. Forced entry. Property taken.
15902 Somerville Drive, Derwood: A strong-arm robbery occurred at the Shady Grove Metro station at 3 p.m. Dec. 4. The suspect is known to the victim.
15531 Frederick Avenue: A theft from a vehicle occurred at CRV at Hersons Kia, between Dec. 7 and Dec. 10. Vehicle parts were taken.
800 block of New Mark Esplanade: An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred between 9 p.m. Dec. 9 and 6 a.m. Dec. 10. Unknown means of entry. The vehicle was searched. Nothing was taken.
400 block of Nature Lane: A residential burglary occurred between 5 and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 8. Forced entry. Property taken.
10400 block of Rockville Pike, North Bethesda: A theft from a vehicle occurred overnight Dec. 4-5. Forced entry. Vehicle parts taken.
13500 block of Parkland Drive: A 22-year-old Rockville man was arrested for an aggravated assault Dec. 6 in which the victim knew the suspect.
Two auto thefts (one attempted, one completed) occurred at a parking garage at 9715 Key West Avenue Dec. 5. It is believed the theft and attempted theft occurred between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The stolen vehicle was used in the commission of a robbery at a Subway in Gaithersburg. Click here to read more.
