A Strong-Arm Robbery, Burglaries and Vehicle Thefts in County Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Sept. 28-Oct. 2, according to county police.

 

The following is compiled from Montgomery County Police Department crime summaries. Arrests do not imply guilt.

700 block of Crabb Avenue: A strong-arm robbery occurred at 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 29. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

14000 block of Weeping Cherry Drive: A residential burglary occurred at 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 25. Forced entry. Nothing taken.

13700 block of Mt. Prospect Drive: A residential burglary occurred between 8:13 and 8:37 p.m. on Oct. 2. Forced entry. Property taken.

11800 block of Magruder Lane: A residential burglary occurred between 5:45 and 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 26. Property was taken from an open garage.

4000 block of Beverly Road: Two shed burglaries occurred around 4 a.m. on Sept. 29. No forced entry. Property taken.

4000 block of Montpelier Road: A shed burglary occurred around 4 a.m. on Sept. 29. Forced entry. Property taken.

4300 block of Federal Street: An attempted burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 26. Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.

12800 block of Turkey Branch Parkway: An 18-year-old man from Rockville was arrested for a residential burglary that occurred between 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 24 and 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 25. No forced entry. Property taken.

Seven vehicle thefts occurred between 3 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 in the 4400 block of Ives Street in Rockville, the 12600 block of Dalewood Drive in Silver Spring, and the 2900 block of Randolph Road in Silver Spring.
