A Carjacking and Assault, Drug and Robbery Arrests in City Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Sept. 20-29, according to Rockville City Police.

 

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

200 block of Rockville Pike: A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Sept. 20 for his involvement in three robberies: one on July 21 in the 600 block of Harrington Road and two on July 31 in the 600 block of Mannakee Street and 15100 block of Frederick Road.

For the July 21 incident, the boy was charged with:

  • Strong-arm robbery.
  • Theft.
  • Use of a credit card belonging to another.
  • Conspiracy to commit strong-arm robbery
  • Conspiracy to commit theft.
  • Conspiracy to commit use of a credit card belonging to another.

For the July 31 incidents, the boy was charged with:

  • Multiple counts of first-degree assault.
  • Multiple counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree assault.
  • Theft.
  • Conspiracy to commit theft.
  • Armed robbery.
  • Conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive: A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana at 12:35 p.m. on Sept. 20.

700 block of Twinbrook Parkway: A 61-year-old man was arrested for first-degree assault and destruction of property between 10:30 and 11:18 p.m. on Sept. 25.

14900 block of Shady Grove Road: A 43-year-old man was arrested for theft at 2:58 p.m. on Sept. 25.

300 block of Martins Lane: A 14-year-old boy was arrested for trespassing at 6:57 p.m. on Sept. 25.

Unit block of Mannakee Street: A 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—amphetamine and dextroamephetamine and possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia at 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 27.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: A 19-year-old man was arrested for trespassing between 3:01 and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 27.

Incidents

400 block of Watkins Pond Boulevard: An unknown subject gained access by unknown means into a residence and then into an attached garage between 2:55 and 3:04 a.m. on Sept. 25. Once inside, the unknown subject removed a laptop.

400 block of Creek Valley Drive: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a GPS unit from a vehicle between 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 1 a.m. on Sept. 25.

100 block of Elmcroft Boulevard: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a purse, credit cards, a briefcase, IDs, a backpack and a laptop from a vehicle between 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 11 p.m. on Sept. 25.

400 block of Elmcroft Boulevard: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a GPS unit from a vehicle between 9 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 25.

1500 block of Rockville Pike: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed his watch, which he had unattended left inadvertently in a restroom between 9:45 and 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 26.

100 block of Congressional Lane: The complainant reported that while she was at an ATM, an unknown subject entered her vehicle at 9:57 p.m. on Sept. 27. The complainant approached the vehicle and the unknown subject stated he had weapon. The unknown subject then fled in the complainant’s vehicle, taking her purse, U.S. currency and credit cards.

1200 block of Rockville Pike: The complainant reported that two unknown subjects entered the business and removed laptops from a shelf between 12:02 and 12:04 p.m. on Sept. 28. The two subjects walked out the front door without paying for the items and got into a vehicle.

Suspects’ descriptions:

  1. A black female, 28 to 35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches, 170 to 210 pounds, with black hair in a ponytail. Last seen wearing: A white T-shirt and blue Capri-style jeans.

  2. A black male, 25 to 32 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, 180 to 200 pounds, with short black hair. Last seen wearing: Blue baggy jeans and a blue shirt with a Captain America logo on it.

300 block of Hungerford Drive: The complainants reported that an unknown subject removed U.S. currency from two unlocked lockers at a fire station between 6 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 29.
