No mail delivery for days afte snowfalls!

Even though Mtg Cty promptly plowed and cleared our streets by last Thursday night (the day of the snow), the Post Office has (again) made no attempt to deliver mail for days. I went by Saturday morning to at least see if I could pick my mail up, but was told it was no longer available at the Derwood station, but delivered out of N. Washington street. I called there and was told, "Yes we are delivering mail on Saturday, 2/15/13." NO, it never happened. Have gone thru this before when PO does not deliver mail (they don't even try) for up to a week after a snow fall, even when the streets are clear. If there are a few people whose mailboxes are snowed in, then don't deliver to those few. But don't make everyone else suffer. They just take an extended holiday and don't even try to do their jobs. I was at work Friday, 2/14, went to the doctor's near Wheaton that day as well, did all my errands Saturday 2/15, and had no problems getting around, even though I'm in my 60s. Why such shoddy service from the PO?
