Why protest this when it will make us be less dependent on importing oil and create job? I don't get it!

The Keystone XL pipeline would bring a number of benefits for Americans. • will add economic value; • can be built without the help of the taxpayer; • will result in billions of dollars of tax revenue for states it runs through; and • will provide a stable supply of oil from Canada, an important trading partner. Can we find a balance here?

Not only that but Canada is the one that's drilling and they're going to sell the oil. (with or without us) I don't see any benefit to have the Canadians sell their oil to China while we import from countries that would love to see us destroyed. Lithium Ion batteries isn't such a great deal for the environment either but I don't hear about any protests over the destruction made while making those batteries.

Anyone who opposes this project is misinformed. I would rather see Canadians get rich instead of terrorists like the Saudies.
