CELEBRATING OBAMACARE!!!
Enthusiastic local residents celebrated the 3rd Anniversary of the ACA (ObamaCare) and planned next steps to ensure that our neighbors and community know about how ObamaCare benefits us.
Two-thirds of sign ups had to be turned away because of a lack of space!
It is impressive how regular citizens took hours out of a beautiful weekend to learn more about ObamaCare and strategize a viable grassroots plan to make the community aware its benefits. Issue experts and ordinary neighbors discussed ideas as equals in order to develop ways to share information about the healthcare exchanges (scheduled for later this year).
There was even a birthday cake with a candle to celebrate three years since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) into law! SEE THE

This house meeting took place in North Potomac at the home of Jaimee G. and Len G. I co-hosted the event as Organizing for Action (OFA) Chapter Director for Montgomery Up-County. OFA believes it is going to take a major grassroots effort to make sure that everyone who can sign up for the exchanges… does.
Just as grassroots organizing passed the ObamaCare, it is going to take grassroots organizing to implement this new piece of it!
