Hair Cuttery Hosts Coat Drive

Hair Cuttery salons throughout Montgomery County are collecting gently used coats, jackets, hats, scarves and mittens for Krausey’s Koats, a national effort to gather cold-weather gear for those in need this winter.

Now through Jan. 1, 2012 donations can be brought to any Hair Cuttery location in Rockville (Congressional Plaza, Fallsgrove Village, Federal Plaza, Rockville Town Square, Village Center at King Farm) and the metro area during normal business hours.

Collected items will benefit homeless shelters, and a variety of non-profits serving the needy, such as: St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Salvation Army and Cradles to Crayons. The transportation and delivery of the winter gear will be handled in collaboration with the United States Army.
