The Tree of Life Cafe at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville will throw a Pre-Holiday Bash on Friday, December 13th featuring Buck Stone & The Bucktones and Patsy's Honky Tonk Torch & Twang. Both bands bring a widely eclectic mix ranging from bluegrass and honky-tonk country to Texas two-step, rockabilly and swing and bring together a host of award-winnng musicians. Jeremy "Buck Stone" Schuhmann and Michelle Murray head up the Bucktones - both veterans of the local scene - offering quirky, catchy and poignant originals along with a twist on bluegrass/country classics. Patsy Stephens and The Hall Brothers team up with Tommy Auldridge on pedal steel to bring the authentic honky tonk sounds of Patsy Cline and others back to the stage. It all starts at 8:00pm at UUCR (100 Welsh Park Drive, Rockville, MD). There is a $15 suggested donation and coffee and other refreshments are available.
