Rockville’s F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre
Presents “The Nerd” in September
Rockville Little Theatre will be
performing a production of “The Nerd” by Larry Shue at F. Scott Fitzgerald
Theatre. This side-splitting comedy centers on Willum, who has it all - a
promising career as an architect, devoted friends, and a serious girlfriend. He
has often told his friends about Rick, a fellow ex-GI whom he has never met but
who saved his life in Vietnam. Rick shows up unexpectedly and Willum discovers
that Rick is the ultimate social misfit. Before long Rick outstays his welcome
with a vengeance and turns Willum’s life upside down. Performances are Sept.
27, 28, Oct. 4 and 5 at 8 p.m.; Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 for students and seniors 62 and up; $18 for adults. Tickets are available
through the theater box office or by phone at 240-314-8690, 2 - 7 p.m., Tuesday
through Saturday.
