The Healthcare Movie

First local showing, by

First Friday Brown Bag Supper Movies

At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville

This award-winning documentary, produced by Canadian/American
couple Laurie Simons and Terry Sterrenberg, compares the Canadian and American
healthcare systems.  The movie traces the
history of how two countries with virtually identical healthcare systems in
1970 ended up in such different places, and it reveals the health and financial
benefits Canadians enjoy with universal access to healthcare.
