Rainbow Place, an emergency women’s homeless shelter in
Rockville, is having its annual Shelter Walk Sunday, November 10. The event will begin at 11:30 with a light
lunch at the Rockville Presbyterian Church located at 215 West Montgomery
Ave. The walk through Rockville Town
Square starts at 12:15. This year’s Grand Marshall is State Senator Jennie Forehand. All are welcome to join the walk and support Rainbow Place as the
shelter begins its 32nd season of caring for homeless women in
Montgomery County. Funds raised at this event help ensure that local homeless women have a warm,safe, caring place to stay during the coldest months of the year. Advanced online registration is strongly encouraged. To register and learn
