Interfaith Works Fables & Tables

Interfaith
Work’s Fables & Tables is one of the region’s premier fundraising events.
Using the “Empty Bowls” grassroots model this unique, family oriented event
provides an evening of community caring and companionship by sharing a humble
meal of soup and bread. Guests are invited to keep a bowl as a reminder that
hunger and homelessness are still present in our community. 

Fables &
Tables will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at
the Smokey Glen Farm, 16407 Riffle Ford Road in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Tickets
are $40 in advance and can be purchased through Interfaith Works online at www.fablesandtables.org.

Proceeds
from the ticket sales support the dedicated work of Interfaith Works to provide
shelter and wrap-around social services to Montgomery County neighbors in need.
Interfaith Works, a 501(c)(3) non-profit and non-sectarian interfaith coalition
has been a leader in providing opportunities and services to our neighbors in
need for over 40 years.
