HearArts Poetry and Music
The free HearArts series presents poetry, memoir, and music on Thurday,
October 3, 7 PM, in Rockville, at VisArts
(http://www.visartsatrockville.org/heararts). Featuring Barbara Morrison, a poet, writer, publisher, teacher, a dancer. Her poetry collections include Terrarium and Here at Least, and she is the author of a memoir, Innocent: Confessions of a Welfare Mother. The Light
is a cutting edge R&B, pop, and inspirational a capella singing
group. They have performed both in DC and up and down the East Coast,
including at the Apollo Theatre in New York. Featuring Nels Olson,
Terence Hope, and Herbert Johnson. Followed by open mic and
