The Rockville Friends of the Library presents a prgam for children in grades 1-5 (ages 6 to 11).  Young makers explore electricity from inside out through the lens of a toy creation.  By using common household electronic components, participants create one-of-a-kind electromechanical toys.  They created basic circuits using batteries, wires, motors, and LED's. This is model making for the 21st century!  All tools and materials are provided. You will go home with a working, wiggling, electromechanical creation. Advance registration is required by calling 240-777-0020 or at http://www.folmc.org/about-us/friends-chapters/rockville/ .
