Rachmaninoff by the Cathedral Choral Society

On Sunday, Feb 24th, the 130-voice Cathedral Choral Society (CCS) will perform Rachmaninoff's masterpiece Solemn Vespers, Op 37 in the original Old Church Slavonic at the National Cathedral. Rachmaninoff considered this epic setting of the Divine Liturgy his finest artistic achievement.  Conducted by J. Reilly Lewis, CCS is DC’s oldest choral ensemble and the resident symphonic chorus of the Washington National Cathedral.
